What a gorgeous day. Truly, between this beautiful couple, stunning venue, and the amazing wedding party it was impossible to choose favorites. And so, you can clearly see an abundance of photos and love below.
Saturday was calling for rain, and this beautiful bride and I touched base just a couple days prior to the big day to discuss what may happen in the case of inclement weather considering that for over a year we’d been talking about this beautiful venue and dreaming of shooting bridals in it’s lush scenery. However, Hannah, being so sweet and carefree just said, “We’ll play it by ear,” and that we did. Luckily, the clouds cleared and there was so much warmth and love in the air.
Their day couldn’t have been more perfect.
Hannah and Clay were married at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. What a gorgeous ceremony filled with vibrant surroundings and beautiful traditions.
We had a great time shooting bridal prep and a few details there. Props to Andrew from Nazareth Road Productions for helping my assistant, Michelle, and I get the dress in that perfect spot. Aren’t those dress shots gorgeous? Loved the detailing Hannah chose on her dress, those rosettes are stunning.
Their reception location was equally breathtaking. They celebrated at Greystone Fields in Gibsonia. After chatting with the proprietor, I learned that it was his childhood home and farm. His son and now daughter-in-law came to them at a loss for the perfect venue, and so, after just 13 months he built his son one of the most picturesque and photographer friendly venue spaces I’ve seen to date. It really did look like a secret garden.
…and the details! I have never considered myself a light and airy photographer, but when a space lends that light your way you take full advantage of it. The subtle hues of blush, gold details, and floral literally filled the air. The flower wall hanging just above the sweetheart table, made by the bride’s mother, was so beautiful. It felt like being inviting to an elegant garden party.
Hannah and Clay were high school sweethearts, so it was no surprise that the dance floor was filled with a lively bunch of long time friends and family. Everyone had such a great time. I have no doubts they will all be talking about this wedding for a long time to come.
Congratulations, Hannah and Clay, and thank you so much for inviting me to capture your gorgeous day for you. You are truly a beautiful couple both inside and out.
